THOMSON TOPPLES GREENSLADE TO WIN THIRD WORLD INDOOR SINGLES TITLE

At 56 years of age, Taylor Sales Manager Andy Thomson regained the world indoor singles for a third time, bridging a 17 year gap since his last win at Preston Guild Hall in 1995, and becomes the oldest player ever to win the title.

Andy Thomson, our Sales Manager for the South of England, and civil servant Jason Greenslade from Pontypridd will battle it out for the world indoor singles title at Potters Leisure Resort after fending off the Scottish challenge from world number 3 Darren Burnett and former holder of this title, David Gourlay.
