Paige Dennis (England)
An A to Z of Team Taylor
Paige Dennis (England)
Born in Chatham in 1994, Paige started playing bowls at the age of 6 because her whole family played at the time. She is a member of Swale Indoor Bowls Club and Appleyard Outdoor Bowls Club.
Paige comments: "I play with a size 2 Aces and indoors I play with a size 2 Vector VS".
Paige played in the Junior Internationals for seven years until she was then too old, she also plays lead in the Senior Internationals which she has done for the last seven years too.
Paige has a few nicknames: Donk/Donkey because she used to have a donkey emblem on her bowls! She also gets P.D. or Paigey Pops!
"My funniest moment in bowls is when I was young, I played in a competition outdoors & we were all wearing blue fleece's with our white skirts. It then started to pour down with rain and the dye from the fleece's went all down the skirt."
"In the bowling world my Nan (Ann Dennis) will always be the person I admire, she passed away in 2009 but she was the kindest person. She played for England herself, so to follow in her footsteps is lovely!"
Paige is currently employed as a Product Manager Assistant by Beams International Ltd who specialise in food and alcohol gifting. Her favourite film is Grease and The Greatest Showman!
