Nicole comments on the Taylor Bowl brand:

I started playing with Taylor bowls when I was about 10 and I’ve loved them ever since. They feel really nice in the hand, and they have great playability. My Taylor Vector VS’s have been at the forefront of my success for many years indoors.

Which model(s)/size of Taylor bowls do you enjoy playing with and why?

Vector VS Size 1 – The pro grip feels great in the hand, and these are perfect for when I play lead or singles.

Taylor Ace Size 1 – These bowls have a great finish for when I’m playing backend and on slower greens.

What country/region/club/team do you play for?

Exonia BC (Indoors) & Kings BC (Outdoors)

When and why did you start playing bowls?

I started playing at around 7/8 at my parent’s indoor club Loddon Vale IBC. There were junior sessions on a Saturday morning that enticed me to play. I then eventually ventured outdoors at the age of 16.

 

Are there any particular stories/incidents you would like to tell us about that relate to your bowling?

When I was 10 years old, my Grandad passed away, and I was given his Taylor Vector VS's. I immediately got on with them and have been using these ever since; I've even won a World title with them!

In the bowling world who do you most admire and why?

To be honest, I admire all of my international teammates. They’ve all had great successes over the years at national and international level and they’ve done their country proud.

Film – Avatar/Pitch Perfect
