Ross Owen (Wales)

Born in 1994 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, Ross started playing bowls at the tender age of 4! He was encouraged by his Grandad who also played. Today Ross is a member of Harlequins Bowls Club (outdoor) and Cynon Valley IBC. He enjoys playing with his Taylor Ace size 4 with Progrip as they are a nice shape and fit comfortably into his hand. Ross works for Uprise Print around his bowling career. He most admires Alex Marshall in bowling and his favourite football team is Cardiff City FC.

2018 - Winner of the Welsh Indoor National Men's singles

2017 -Welsh National under 25 singles as well as the the Welsh National fours title. 

2016 - Represented Wales at World Bowls in New Zealand!

2016 - Invited to Potters to the first under 25's World Championship as the highest ranked under 25's player. He came runner-up!

Nov 2015 - Represented Wales at the Atlantic Championships in Cyprus.

Currently in the Welsh Elite performance outdoor Squad
