Graeme Wilson (Crown Green)

Graeme was born in 1972 in Elland, Halifax, West Yorkshire. He started playing bowls at the age of 10 encouraged by his Mum, Dad and Grandad who all played. Graeme's wife also plays!

He plays for Yorkshires, 104 county appearances and is a member of Elland WMC Lower Hopton WMC.

Graeme has always played with a Taylor  crown green 2Ib 11oz bowls.

His nickname is either Willie or G.I. He currently works for us as our North of England Sales Representative.

In crown green bowling he most admires Robert Hitchen who is one of the countries most decorated players and now a very good friend. Graeme's other interest is football and he supports Huddersfield Town Football Club.

His major achievements in crown green bowling are:-

2023 Wigan Subscription Classic Winner (7th win at this tournament!)

2017 Retained the Mel Evans MBE BCGBA Centenary Mixed Pairs Winner (along with partner Cathy)

2016 Won The Grange Classic, Pudsey Classic and the Mirfield Old Bank Autumn Doubles Title
